Dorra Omrani '26 is a sophomore studying Middle East Studies and Biology. She is Tunisian and grew up in both Tunis and Dubai. Having witnessed the Tunisian Arab Spring in 2010, she has interests in the study of North African history, revolution, and politics. Her recent coursework has sparked a new interest in the use of different mediums, such as film and graffiti, in historical storytelling and de-colonial efforts. At Brown, she is on the E-Board of the Arab Society, and is an editor for the Brown Undergraduate Journal of Middle East Studies (BUJMES). In her free time, Dorra loves to travel, read and listen to Arab music!
