Center for Middle East Studies

Zahra Asghar grew up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is studying Middle East studies and behavioral decision sciences. She also conducts research on psychosocial support programs for refugees in the Middle East and secondary prevention of trauma due to gun violence through the Brown School of Public Health. Zahra also works as a BRYTE tutor and is one of the captains of the Brown Model United Nations team.
